The Portuguese royal arms appear as a vignette at upper centre, flanked by two ornate medallions each enclosing the sterling pound symbol and the word UMA, with serial numbers repeated at upper left and upper right. The issue place BEIRA and date 15 de Setembro de 1919 appear at lower left, with two manuscript signatures below the respective titles O GERENTE and O ADMINISTRADOR. |
