| Obverse description | Central field displays a crowned shield bearing a fleur-de-lis flanked by two additional fleurs-de-lis in the lower portion, all beneath a prominent crown. The design is rendered in a crude hammered style typical of minor Italian feudal coinage of the late sixteenth century. The circular Latin legend reads MON. NOV. IM. COM. DEC., abbreviating the issuing authority of the Imperial County of Desana. |
