| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field features the denomination characters 一厘 (1 Li) in bold regular script, enclosed within a raised inner circle and flanked by two upswept grain or floral sprays tied at the base, forming a wreath. Surrounding the inner circle, the peripheral legend in traditional Chinese characters reads, from upper right proceeding around: 宣統年造 (Made in the Xuantong reign era) at the top and 換銀幣一角百枚 (exchangeable for one silver jiao per 100 pieces) at the bottom, with small floral rosettes punctuating the legend at the sides. The design is executed in a crisp, mechanically milled style consistent with late Qing dynasty pattern coinage. |
