The bank title BANCA GENERALĂ ROMÂNĂ is inscribed across the top, with the large numeral "1" and denomination UN LEU prominently centred. Repeated denomination panels appear at lower left and lower right, and a rectangular text box at lower centre carries the anti-counterfeiting warning inscription in Romanian.
