| Reverse description | Printed in red on a multicolour guilloche underprint, the reverse carries a detailed aerial-perspective vignette of the Maya archaeological site at Copán, with the ball court and the Hieroglyphic Stairway rendered in fine intaglio line work. Numeral "1" counters appear at lower left and lower right within scrollwork borders, and a pre-Columbian glyph motif is centred at the top below the bank name. A captioned tablet at lower centre identifies the scene, flanked by decorative rosette ornaments. |
