The large numeral '1' appears in an oval guilloche at centre, flanked by ornamental scroll work. Three manuscript signatures of bank officials appear along the lower margin.

背面描述	Central vignette of the archaeological ruins of Copán, encompassing the Mesoamerican ball court (Juego de Pelota) and the Hieroglyphic Stairway, rendered in intaglio against a red-toned guilloche ground. A carved stela is visible at far left, with trees and temple structures framing the panoramic scene. The denomination legend and site inscription appear in the lower portion of the design.
