Beschrijving voorzijde	The obverse displays the full coat of arms of the Republic of Latvia at center, featuring a quartered shield with a rising sun in the upper half and two passant lions in the lower quarters. The shield is supported on the left by a lion rampant and on the right by a griffin, both rendered in high relief. Three five-pointed stars arc above the shield, representing the three historical regions of Latvia. Oak branches tied with a ribbon form a wreath beneath the supporters. The legend LATVIJAS arcs across the upper field and REPUBLIKA across the lower field, with a beaded border encircling the entire design.
