| Описание аверса |
Elongated bent silver wire flan bearing a hammered Arabic legend running along the length of the piece. The inscription, reading from right to left in characteristic Islamic calligraphic style, renders the royal titulature of Sultan Muhammad Imad al-Din I across the flattened surface. The legend is struck in relief against a rough, irregular field typical of hammered wire coinage. Due to the nature of the larin format, no pictorial devices or geometric borders are present, the inscription itself constituting the entirety of the design. |

Reverse of the bent wire larin displaying a continuation or repetition of the hammered Arabic inscription across the flattened surface of the silver flan. The field is plain and unadorned aside from the struck legend, exhibiting the characteristic rough texture and irregular edges produced by the hammered wire manufacturing technique. As is typical of Maldivian larin coinage, no additional devices, symbols, or borders appear on this face. |
