Below the numeral, the denomination in Mkhedruli Georgian script is inscribed in the lower portion of the field. The entire design is enclosed within a continuous wreath of stylised laurel or olive branches, tied at the base with a small decorative element, and a pellet ornament appears at both the top and bottom of the wreath border. |

| Additional information |
Georgia's lari was reintroduced in 1995 as part of the country's monetary reconstruction following the collapse of the Soviet Union and a period of catastrophic hyperinflation during which the transitional coupon currency, the kuponi, became nearly worthless within two years of issue. The National Bank issued this denomination continuously across a twelve-year span, suggesting stable production demand rather than periodic restrikes.
