Reverse description The reverse field, divided by the central square hole into four sections, bears an extensive inscription in Chinese characters arranged in vertical columns across the entire face of the coin. The text reads 玦須千年化溢參酬萬動傳世彭有所寶者德惟賢, a classical literary passage extolling virtue, longevity, and the perpetual transmission of civilized governance. The characters are deeply and crisply cast in an elegant regular script (kaishu) style characteristic of Vietnamese Nguyễn imperial coinage. No pictorial motifs appear on this face; the inscription alone fills the available field in tightly arranged columns. The composition reflects the Confucian literary tradition embedded in Vietnamese imperial numismatic practice.
