| Obverse description | Central field features the numeral '1' above the denomination legend 'KURUŞ' and the date '2021', all enclosed within a wreath composed of a wheat ear to the left and an olive branch to the right, tied at the base where the mint mark appears. The Turkish crescent and star device is positioned at the top of the wreath, above the numeral. The circular legend 'TÜRKİYE CUMHURİYETİ' runs along the outer rim, divided between the upper and lower periphery, separated by raised dots. |

| Additional information |
Issued as part of Turkey's ongoing wildlife series, this kuruş denomination has existed largely as a collector vehicle since the early 2000s — the 1 kuruş represents so little purchasing power in modern Turkey that it has no practical circulation role. The chukar partridge, native across Anatolia and long embedded in Turkish rural culture, was selected through the Darphane's periodic rotation of fauna subjects on the lower denomination coins.
