| Obverse description | Three lines of Arabic script filling the field, reading the ruler's name and titles: 'Ali bin Ala'ad-Din Malik the Pious.' The legends are rendered in a bold, informal hand typical of Acehnese hammered coinage, with the characters raised in high relief against a granular gold ground. The entire inscription is enclosed within a beaded circle border. The flan is irregular in shape, as characteristic of hand-struck Southeast Asian gold coinage of the sixteenth century. |

| Reverse description | Two lines of Arabic script occupying the central field, reading 'Al-Sultan al-'Adil' (The Just Sultan), a royal epithet affirming the ruler's legitimacy and piety. The legends are executed in the same bold, raised relief as the obverse, characteristic of the hammered technique employed at Acehnese mints. A beaded circle border frames the inscription, with the granular gold flan surface visible in the surrounding field. The coin's irregular flan edge is consistent with hand-cut gold planchet production of the period. |
