| Opmerkingen |
Denmark's small-denomination emergency notes of this period were a direct response to the hoarding and melting of silver coinage that swept Scandinavia once World War One began disrupting metal supplies. The Nationalbanken issued several successive Krone Skillemønt ("small change") types in quick succession as demand outpaced supply — the Type III designation reflects not a redesign but incremental adjustments to printing runs and control numbering practices across the 1916–1921 window.
Paper frailty is a known issue with this type. Low-denomination notes saw hard daily use, and few survived unfolded.
