Obverse description Bare-headed effigy of King Haakon VII facing right, rendered in high relief with fine detailing of the hair and a distinguished moustache. The engraver's initials appear discreetly at the base of the neck truncation. The peripheral legend reads HAAKON·VII·NORGES·KONGE, separated by small raised dots, with the date centered at the bottom of the field below the portrait, incorporating the Kongsberg mint crosshammer mark between the digits of the year. A beaded border frames the entire design.
