附加信息	Hannover's gold Krone series was tied directly to the Dresden Coinage Convention of 1838, which attempted to standardize currency across the German states. The convention established the Krone as a trade unit, and Hannover — still a separate kingdom under the British crown until 1837, then under its own Hanoverian line — maintained its own mint operations throughout this period precisely to assert that independence. The series ended abruptly in 1866 when Prussia annexed Hannover following the Austro-Prussian War. The Royal Mint of Hannover was shuttered shortly after, making late-date examples from 1866 notably scarcer than earlier strikes.
