Reverse description The denomination '1 KRONE' is inscribed in two lines across the upper field, with the country name 'DANMARK' arching along the lower rim in bold raised lettering. A round central hole occupies the centre of the coin. Two ornamental floral rosettes are positioned symmetrically to the left and right of the central hole in the mid-field. The design is plain and typographically bold, consistent with the modern Danish circulation coinage tradition.

Additional information

Frederik X ascended to the Danish throne on 14 January 2024 following Queen Margrethe II's abdication — the first Danish abdication in over 900 years. This 2025 issue is among the earliest circulating coinage to bear his effigy, making fresh-from-roll examples the natural starting point for type collectors building a reign set.
