| Descripción del anverso | The face of this promissory note is printed in blue on cream paper, with a guilloche border framing the entire design. At the upper centre, the denomination 'EN KRONE' appears in bold letterpress within a guilloche oval cartouche, flanked on either side by the crowned polar bear coat of arms of Den Kongelige Grønlandske Handel. The principal text in cursive script reads 'Denne Anvisning gælder ved Handelsstederne i Grönland for', with the year overprint '1911' applied in black ink over the original date 'KJØBENHAVN 1905', and a serial number appears at the lower centre. |

Den Kongelige Grønlandske Handel operated Greenland as a closed trading monopoly well into the twentieth century, and its scrip functioned as a de facto colonial currency — valid only within the territory and unredeemable outside it. The 1911 overprint on the existing 1905 plate was a practical measure, almost certainly driven by the need to extend the validity of notes already in circulation rather than commission an entirely new printing.
The overprint distinguishes P#6A from its parent issue. Watch for fading or ink strike inconsistencies in the overprint itself — a known weakness of this type — which can complicate authentication.
