| 正面描述 | Bare-headed right-facing effigy of King Christian X, modeled in high relief with finely detailed hair and strong facial features. The truncation of the bust is visible at the lower portion of the field, bearing the engraver's initials 'AH' in small incuse letters. The circular legend reads 'CHRISTIAN X KONGE AF DANMARK' arranged along the inner beaded border, with the date and mint master's initials 'VBP' appearing at the base of the portrait. A small heart privy mark precedes the date, consistent with Copenhagen Mint issues of this period. |

Denmark entered World War I as a neutral power, but the war immediately disrupted silver supplies and trade flows across Europe. The 1915–1916 window for this type is narrow by design — rising silver prices and wartime metal pressures prompted Denmark to reduce the fineness of its krone coinage shortly after, making these .800 silver pieces a transitional issue caught between pre-war monetary norms and the compromises that followed.
