| Reverse description | The elaborately detailed Royal Crown of Denmark is depicted centrally in the field, surmounted by an orb and cross, its circlet adorned with fleurs-de-lis, crosses, and foliate ornaments above a band set with gemstones, all rendered in fine relief. Below the crown appears the king's motto in two lines, with the date divided by the Copenhagen mint mark — a heart — in the lower exergue. The surrounding peripheral legend, separated by rosette stops, identifies the king's royal titles. The coin exhibits a milled or toothed border around the entire circumference. |
