背面描述 Central field bears the arms of Salzburg — a divided field with the episcopal saltire — set within an oval cartouche. The date is divided at the top of the shield, with the year split on either side. The denomination numeral appears below the shield within a rectangular frame, itself interrupting the circumferential Latin legend, which reads as an abbreviation for 'Sacrae Apostolicae Sedis Legatus Natus Germaniae Primas', commencing at 12 o'clock.

附加信息

Sigismund von Schrattenbach ruled the Archbishopric of Salzburg from 1753 until his death in 1771, and these small billon kreuzers were issued across a five-year window during the early, relatively stable portion of his tenure — before the Seven Years' War began grinding into Austria's finances in earnest. Salzburg, as an ecclesiastical principality within the Holy Roman Empire, maintained its own mint and monetary authority throughout this period, producing issues that circulated alongside imperial coinage in the surrounding regions.

The Zöttl reference numbers 3088–3093 indicate at least six documented varieties across the run, likely reflecting annual die changes rather than intentional design revisions.
