Obverse description A double cross device is set within two concentric circles, the outer of which is interrupted by the surrounding legend. A small cross precedes the ruler's name in the inscription. On certain die varieties, four-pointed stars appear both within the inner circle and interspersed within the legend. The overall style is characteristic of late medieval hammered coinage from the Tyrolean mints.
