Obverse description Central field displays an ornate oval cartouche or shield divided by a vertical bar, bearing three fleurs-de-lis arranged vertically, characteristic of the Fugger family arms. The cartouche is surrounded by elaborate baroque strapwork and foliate ornamental scrolls. The entire design is rendered in the hammered style typical of early seventeenth-century German seigneurial coinage, with a plain inner border and a raised rim.

Reverse description Central field features the entwined monogram 'MF' (Maximilian Fugger) above a large decorative capital 'K' set within an ornamental cartouche, denoting the Kreuzer denomination. The date 1622 is divided to either side of the central monogram, with '16' to the left and '22' to the right. Below the cartouche appears the numeral '60', indicating the coin's tariff value within the Thaler system. The design is enclosed by a beaded inner border and a plain raised rim, consistent with hammered billon coinage of the period.
