The upper-left and lower-right quarters bear the arms of Longueville (three chevrons), while the remaining quarters show the arms of Neuchâtel (three chevrons with small charges). A royal crown surmounts the shield. The surrounding legend, interrupted at the base, reads H · D · LONG · C · S · NEOC identifying the issuer as Henri, Duke of Longueville and Sovereign Count of Neuchâtel. The toothed or beaded border frames the design. |
