| Reverse description | Central motif consists of an ornate cross pattée with foliate terminals, rendered in high relief against a flat field. The year of issue is inscribed above the cross, flanked by the first word of the motto to the left and the second to the right, all separated by small star or cross ornaments. The denomination 'CR · 1' appears in the lower field beneath the cross, indicating one Kreuzer. The whole is encircled by a plain milled border. The composition is well-balanced and characteristic of Swiss-influenced billon coinage of the late eighteenth century. |
