| Descrizione del dritto | Crowned double-headed imperial eagle displayed at center, with both heads surmounted by a single imperial crown, rendered in Gothic relief characteristic of late 15th-century hammered coinage. The eagle's wings are spread and the talons are visible at the base of the design. A circular Gothic legend in uncial characters surrounds the eagle, reading FR*R*IMP*A*E*I*O*V, abbreviating Frederick III's imperial and archducal titles. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded inner border. The striking is typical of hand-hammered production, resulting in slight irregularity in the coin's flan. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Central device consisting of the quartered shield of Styria, bearing the walking panther, superimposed over two cross pattées of differing sizes, the larger cross extending into and dividing the surrounding Gothic legend. The circular legend, rendered in uncial characters, reads MON NOV STI with the last two digits of the date, 87, appearing at the end of the inscription. The design is enclosed within a beaded border and reflects the characteristic late medieval die-engraving style of the Graz mint. |
