Obverse description Armored bust of Frederick II (Frederick the Great) facing right, depicted in classical military attire with a laureate head. The effigy is rendered in a restrained baroque style typical of late 18th-century Prussian coinage. The circumferential Latin legend reads FRIDERIC:BORUSS:REX, identifying the monarch as Frederick, King of Prussia. A plain inner border frames the design, with a milled edge visible at the coin's periphery.

Reverse description The reverse displays the Prussian eagle displayed, with wings spread and head turned to the left, rendered in a bold, stylized manner consistent with Brandenburg-Prussian heraldic tradition. A crowned orb or scepter device appears at the eagle's breast. Beneath the eagle, the denomination inscription 1 KREUTZER is set horizontally across the field in capital letters. The overall design is enclosed within a milled border, with the field largely occupied by the heraldic motif.
