Obverse description Laureate and armored bust of Emperor Ferdinand III facing right, depicted with flowing hair and ornate cuirass, set within a beaded inner circle. The numeral I, denoting the face value of one Kreuzer, appears prominently in an oval cartouche at the base of the bust. The peripheral legend runs around the outside of the inner circle in Latin capital letters.

Reverse description Crowned double-headed imperial eagle displayed in the field, with the Bohemian lion shield emblazoned on the breast. The eagle's wings are spread and both heads are crowned, with an imperial crown above spanning both necks. A circular Latin legend surrounds the design within a beaded inner circle, with the date incorporated at the end of the legend and the Prague mint mark appearing at the bottom.
