Obverse description The Palatinate lion passant to left, displayed within a crowned baroque cartouche adorned with foliate laurel branches at the base. The shield bears the characteristic Bavarian lozengy pattern combined with the Palatinate lion in a divided escutcheon. A royal crown surmounts the cartouche at the top of the design. A circular legend runs along the coin's periphery, reading PFAL Z on the right side.

Reverse description The denomination '1 KREUZ' is inscribed in three lines within a central rope-bordered inner circle, with a star ornament above. Below the denomination appears the mintmaster's initials 'F·O'. The date 1746 is displayed along the lower portion of the coin, outside the inner circle. The peripheral legend 'LAND MUNZ' runs around the outer border within a beaded rim.
