| Beschrijving voorzijde | Laureate and draped bust of Charles Albert (Charles VII, Holy Roman Emperor) facing right, with flowing curled hair, within a beaded border. The legend encircles the effigy reading CAROL. VII. D. G. R. I. S. A., abbreviating his imperial and electoral titles. The portrait is rendered in a fine baroque style typical of early 18th-century Bavarian coinage. |

Charles Albert's reign as Holy Roman Emperor (Charles VII) ended with his death in January 1745, making this a terminal issue struck across the boundary of two political identities simultaneously — Bavarian elector and sitting emperor. Bavaria had been occupied by Austrian forces for much of the preceding years during the War of the Austrian Succession, and the Munich mint operated under genuine administrative strain throughout this period. The 1744–1745 date range reflects not prolific output but a compressed window before the electorate passed to Maximilian III Joseph.
