Obverse description Central depiction of a stepped pyramid or tower structure housing the Nuremberg city arms (an imperial eagle displayed) within an arched gateway, flanked by rusticated masonry walls. The inscription N.L.M.K.ST. (Nürnberger Landes-Münz-Kreuzer-Stück) arcs around the upper field in Latin characters.
