Obverse description Displayed imperial eagle with spread wings surmounted by an open crown occupying the central field, rendered in the heraldic style of the Holy Roman Empire. The eagle's head faces right, with talons extended downward. A circular Latin legend surrounds the device, with the mint master's initials appearing in the lower portion of the field. The coin's border is decorated with a fine beaded rim.

The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border.
