| Beschrijving voorzijde | Two heraldic shields displayed side by side within a beaded inner circle: the dexter shield bearing the Nuremberg eagle displayed, and the sinister shield bearing the imperial orb or city arms. The date appears in Arabic numerals in the upper field above the shields, and the mintmaster's initial 'N' is placed in the lower field below the shields. The design is rendered in the characteristic hammered style of early seventeenth-century German municipal coinage. |
