| Obverse description | Central field features the Czechoslovak lion, a rampant double-tailed lion passant with a crowned shield bearing the Slovak cross, rendered in high relief in the Art Deco style characteristic of Španiel's work. The circular legend REPUBLIKA ČESKOSLOVENSKÁ arcs around the upper periphery, with the date 1922 positioned at the base between two small decorative stars. The overall design reflects the newly established republic's national heraldic symbolism. |
