| 备注 |
Hajmáskér, a major Austro-Hungarian artillery garrison in western Hungary, operated one of the larger prisoner-of-war camps during the First World War, holding primarily Russian and Serbian captives. Camp scrip of this kind was issued under official military authority to prevent prisoners from accumulating imperial currency — and to keep camp economies self-contained, with notes redeemable only within the wire.
Globus, a Budapest commercial printer, handled a number of these camp issues. The scrip has no standing in the postwar Hungarian monetary system and was effectively worthless the moment the camp dissolved.
