| 备注 |
Boldogasszony — today Frauenkirchen in Austria's Burgenland — held a significant POW camp during the First World War, and like many Austro-Hungarian internment facilities, it issued its own internal scrip to control prisoner spending and prevent coinage from accumulating inside the wire. These camp notes circulated exclusively within the compound; they were worthless outside and deliberately so.
The 1 Korona denomination aligns with the standard Austro-Hungarian monetary unit of the period, though the scrip carried no redemption guarantee once the war ended. Most camp issues were destroyed or discarded at liberation, which accounts for the scarcity of surviving examples across virtually all k.u.k. POW camp series.
