| 备注 |
This is a textilpénz — a factory-issued emergency note — produced during the chaotic monetary conditions of 1919, when Hungary was cycling through the collapse of the Habsburg monetary union, the short-lived Hungarian Soviet Republic, and the Romanian military occupation of Budapest. Industrial firms printed their own small-denomination scrip to pay wages when coin and low-value banknotes simply ceased to circulate reliably.
Kultúra nyomda was a Budapest commercial printer with no specialized security printing background, which shows in these notes — they were never intended to resist forgery, only to function within a closed factory economy where the issuer and the workforce knew each other.
The Adamo MSZK cataloguing places this within a documented but thinly researched class of Hungarian notgeld; survivorship is largely accidental.
