Reverse description Denomination and date inscribed within an ornate baroque cartouche, reading EIN KOPFSTUCK / CHOR / TRIERLAND / MUNTZ / 1734 / G.G., the text arranged in six lines within an oval frame surrounded by elaborate foliate and scrollwork embellishments. The mintmaster initials G.G. appear below the date. The overall composition is characteristic of early eighteenth-century German ecclesiastical coinage, with the cartouche filling the majority of the reverse field.
