Reverse description Within an inner beaded circle, the quartered coat of arms of the Archbishopric of Salzburg surmounted by an archiepiscopal mitre and crozier, combining the arms of the see with those of the Keutschach family. The shield is rendered in the heraldic style of the early sixteenth century, with bold relief typical of hammered klippe coinage. The circular Latin legend identifying the issuing archbishop and see is disposed around the shield within the annular field, with the date 1513 divided on either side of the central device.
