| Reverse description | The reverse field carries a bold three-line inscription in Jawi (Arabic) script occupying the majority of the coin's surface. The numeral 1 (one) appears at the top of the field, followed by the Jawi text reading 'Satu Keping' (One Keping) in the centre, and the Hijri year 1257 rendered in Eastern Arabic-Indic numerals at the base. Decorative diamond-shaped ornaments punctuate the inscription. The design is enclosed within a plain inner rim and a dentillated outer border matching the obverse. |
