| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central device consisting of a heart-shaped cartouche formed by two interlaced bands, enclosing the crowned cipher of the Vereenigde Oost-Indische Compagnie (VOC) — the monogram composed of the letters E, V, I, and C arranged symmetrically around a central cross. A stylised crown or anchor symbol surmounts the heart at top. The date 1787 is inscribed along the lower field beneath the cartouche, flanked by a small rosette or floral ornament at centre base. The entire design is set within a broad milled border of fine denticles. |
