Obverse description Irregular cast tin flan bearing a raised horizontal bar traversing the central field, with a prominent raised circular boss or large central pellet positioned at the midpoint of the bar. The design is minimalist and utilitarian in character, consistent with the primitive cast coinage tradition of the Malay sultanates. The surface exhibits the characteristic rough texture and uneven edges typical of tin casting technology employed throughout the Johor sultanate period.
