Obverse description Standing deity depicted with bow and arrow in a schematic, stylized rendering typical of South Indian hammered copper coinage. The figure occupies the central field of the irregularly shaped flan, rendered in low relief with Tamil script characters visible in the upper portion of the field. The overall design is characteristic of the crude but iconographically deliberate style of Sivaganga Princely State issues.
