| Obverse description | A lion passant to right occupies the central field, rendered in bold relief within a beaded or rope border circle. The flan is slightly irregular, consistent with hammered production typical of South Indian kasu coinage of this period. The lion's form, though stylized, displays characteristic features of Nayaka-period heraldic animal design, with the body in profile and the head partially raised. The surrounding field is flat and largely plain beyond the encircling border. |
