| 背面描述 | The reverse displays a stylized tree or plant motif with spreading branches, rendered in a highly schematic and abstract fashion typical of Vijayanagara copper kasu coinage. Granular or pellet ornaments are distributed around the device in the field. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show characteristic flatness and porosity consistent with hammered copper coinage of the Deccan region. No legible inscription is discernible on this side. |

Devaraya I and Devaraya II ruled Vijayanagara across this period, and attributing copper kasu to one over the other remains genuinely contested among specialists — the KM# ambiguity here reflects that. Devaraya II in particular oversaw a significant expansion of the empire's military capacity, reportedly recruiting large numbers of Muslim archers and cavalrymen, a pragmatic move that drew criticism from orthodox Hindu advisors but proved effective against Bahmani Sultanate incursions.
Copper coinage of this dynasty circulated heavily at the local market level and survives in correspondingly worn states.
