| 背面描述 | The reverse presents a series of pellets or dots arranged within a framework of double incuse lines, forming a geometric pattern characteristic of the small copper kasu issues of the Mysore kingdom. The design fills the central field in a schematic, repetitive fashion, consistent with the rudimentary die-cutting style of the period. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, with no surrounding legend or inscription. |

Chikka Devaraja Wadiyar, who ruled Mysore from 1672 to 1704, was among the most administratively ambitious rulers the kingdom produced — reorganizing revenue collection, expanding territory at the expense of the Mughals and Marathas, and consolidating a monetary system that persisted well beyond his death. The attribution of this kasu type to the span 1638–1761 reflects the Mysore practice of continuing successful coin types across multiple reigns without modification, making individual reign attribution nearly impossible without hoard context.
