| 背面描述 | Central geometric design composed of a cruciform arrangement of raised vertical and horizontal lines, flanked by leaf or branch motifs at the top, creating a stylized tree or plant device. The Kasu was the foundational small-denomination copper unit of Mysore's indigenous currency system, issued continuously across the reigns of several Wadiyar rulers during this period. Mysore maintained remarkable monetary independence throughout the 17th and early 18th centuries, operating its own mint infrastructure well before Hyder Ali's seizure of power in 1761 effectively ended the Wadiyar dynasty's administrative control and disrupted the existing coinage tradition.
