| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse displays a pattern of intersecting parallel lines forming a grid or lattice design across the field, executed in the rough, imprecise manner typical of hammered copper coinage of the Mysore kingdom. The lines intersect at irregular intervals, dividing the flan into a series of geometric compartments. No inscription or additional device is present. The surface shows characteristic porosity and irregular flan edges consistent with cast and hand-struck copper production of the late 17th to mid-18th century. |

The Kasu coinage of Mysore circulated through a period when the kingdom was nominally under Wadiyar rule but increasingly dominated by powerful ministers — a tension that would eventually produce Hyder Ali's coup in 1761, ending the dynasty's effective control for nearly four decades.
