Obverse description Elephant advancing to the right with trunk raised, depicted in a bold, archaic style characteristic of early Deccan coinage. The animal is rendered with prominent legs and a naturalistic body, occupying the central field. A Brahmi legend surrounds the elephant, extending along the upper and lower periphery of the flan. The overall execution is typical of the cast and hammered fabric associated with the Newas-Paithan regional type of Satavahana coinage.

Reverse description A stylized Bodhi tree rendered with spreading branches and leaf clusters, occupying the central field. Taurine symbols — small crescent-and-ball devices — appear in the voids between the leaf groupings, a motif commonly associated with early Indian coinage of the Satavahana and preceding Mauryan traditions. The composition is arranged symmetrically around the central trunk, with additional subsidiary symbols filling the surrounding field. The design is executed in a flat, schematic style consistent with hammered provincial coinage of this period.
