Obverse description Irregular square silver flan bearing multiple punch-marked symbols applied in the punch-marked tradition of the Kosala Janapada period. The obverse field displays a series of symbolic devices including crescent, taurine, and geometric motifs characteristic of early Indian coinage, each impressed individually by a separate punch tool. The symbols are distributed across the flan without a fixed compositional arrangement, typical of punch-marked coinage of the northern Indian Janapada polities. The surface shows the characteristic granular texture of hammered silver, with slightly raised edges from the punching process. No inscriptions or legends are present, as was standard for coinage of this era.
