| Opis awersu | A die-struck depiction of an elephant in profile facing right, rendered in the schematic artistic convention characteristic of early Central Indian coinage. The animal is shown in full body, occupying the primary field of the irregularly trimmed square flan. The relief is low and somewhat worn, consistent with the early die-cutting traditions of the Eran mint. No legend or ancillary symbols are present in the field. The type exemplifies the zoomorphic iconographic tradition of the Karshapana coinage of Central India. |

| Opis rewersu | The reverse is uniface and entirely uninscribed, presenting a plain, flat copper surface with no design elements, symbols, or legends. The flan shows natural irregularities in shape and surface texture consistent with ancient hand-cut copper blanks. This blank reverse is a defining characteristic of the uniface elephant type Karshapanas attributed to Eran. Patination across the surface ranges from reddish-brown to olive-green, indicative of extended burial or environmental exposure. |
